About
976-SING was founded in February 1987, at the Ensemble Studio Theatre in Los Angeles, California, as part of a Friday night review in The Titanic Lounge. Through various incarnations the group that began with John Cox, Ron Hoffman, Rex Rotsko and Wayne Winstead, and later included William "Rusty" Jones and Arthur "Sparky" Johnson, continued for seven years, performing for thousands of people in comedy clubs, theaters and universities throughout the country. They appeared in one motion picture and several television shows.
Take some time to explore the world of 976-SING and follow this group of talented individuals that embarked on an entertainment adventure and – almost by accident – experienced success, but then ultimately dissolved back into obscurity. You'll find lots of photos and commentary along with a few notable videos and samples of their songs. You might even become a fan!
